Benefits and Risks to College Credit Plus - information from Wright State University

Transferring credits: If a student participates in college credit plus, he/she will need to call that college's registrar after they graduate to request an official copy of their transcripts. Most colleges charge $5-10 per request and can take 2 weeks to fulfill. The transcript will then be sent to their next college for transferring of credits.

2-1-1 Much like 9-1-1 is a medical emergency phone number, 2-1-1 serves as a resource emergency number. For example, if you find yourself with housing for a night, call 2-1-1 and they locate an agency to help.

Bio: Graduate from Miami University with a Bachelors degree in Education in secondary comprehensive communications. Earned my Master's Degree in School Counseling from the University of Dayton. I first taught English at the Upper Valley Career Center for twelve years, then moved to the school counselor position. I live in Piqua with my husband Dave and have two adult sons. This will be my thirty-fifth year of proudly working at the Career Center.

Bio: Graduate from Walsh University with Bachelors in Physical Education. Graduate from John Carroll University in School Counseling. Completed 10 years in education, and starting my first year with the Career Center during the 2017-2018 school year. My husband (Dan) and I live in Anna and we have 1 son, Benjamin.

Bio: Graduate from Ohio State University with a Bachelors degree in Middle Childhood Education. Graduate from Liberty University with a Masters degree in School Counseling. I worked as the counselor at Fort Loramie Jr/Sr High School for four years, and this will be my third year at Upper Valley Career Center. I absolutely love my job and helping the students that attend Upper Valley Career Center.
