Culinary Arts is designed for students who are interested in the food industry. First-year students focus on basic preparation skills and introductory competencies. Second-year students focus on hands-on preparation, menu planning, and management functions.
Students in the Culinary Arts program operate the Cornerstone @8811, a full-service restaurant located in the school. The restaurant is open to the public as scheduled throughout the school year.
Graduates of Culinary Arts are encouraged to continue their culinary education at a variety of post-secondary institutions.
