Throughout the course of the 2011/12 school year, students and citizens can expect to see evidence of our ongoing renovation project. The $24 million project is a huge undertaking as we are replacing outdated systems and technology throughout the 37-year old structure while remaining open for business. Phase One, a new swing space is already complete and occupied by classes displaced during the construction. December 1 students began to occupy the labs and classrooms in the South end of the building, which allowed contractors to focus on work in the 200 wing of the over 4-acre building. It is an exciting process thanks to the visible daily progress.
Just as work on the renovation project continues throughout the year, our transition from Upper Valley JVS to Upper Valley Career Center continues. This web site along with building signage, highway signs, program banners, and even student uniforms will be phased in to reflect the new identity.
Every step forward...is a step forward! In the meantime, "please, excuse our dust" and know we appreciate your patience and support.
