Spring Dance has Las Vegas Theme

Upper Valley Career Center Student Senate hosted the school’s Annual Spring Dance on Saturday evening, April 1, 2017. The dance theme Las Vegas Nights was portrayed through custom-made props and activities enjoyed by those in attendance.

Twelve junior and twelve senior court attendants were chosen by the Career Center student body to represent each of the Career and Technical Student Organizations.

Hayley Eversman, a Piqua student in Culinary Arts and representing FCCLA, was crowned the 2017 Dance Queen by the 2016 Dance Queen, Emily Campbell. Eversman is the daughter of Alexa Rodabaugh and the late Dale Eversman. 

Drew Alt, a senior in Interactive Media from Russia representing BPA was chosen as the Dance King. Alt is the son of Tina Alt.



The Junior Princess and Prince are Macey Richard, Anna, and Blaine Matthews, Troy, both representing FFA on the Dance court. Richard is the daughter of Christina and Mike Richard. Matthews is the son of Frances Fleenor and Joe Matthews. She was crowned by the returning 2016 Princess Brittany Bell. 

 In addition to the Spring dance the Upper Valley Career Center Student Senate organizes a year-long calendar of community service and fund drives. Student Senate Adviser is  Jennifer Henke, Fort Loramie.
