Zac Gordon Excels

COLUMBUS, OH:  Zac Gordon of the Upper Valley Career Center FFA Chapter was the 2017 state runner up in the area of Turf Grass Management. The event was part of the 89th Ohio FFA State Convention. Students who complete this project own the enterprise, or work for a business that involves the planting and maintaining of turf for outdoor beautification, providing a lawn mowing service; improving recreational areas, sod produced for sale, and sport field or golf course management. Gordon does both as he operates his own lawn care service and works for MGZ Lawn and Ground Care, LLC, Dayton.

 Gordon is a Miami East junior attending the Landscape Management program at Upper Valley where he serves as the 2017-18 FFA Chapter President. He is the son of James and Shelly Gordon, Piqua.
