Open House FAQs

  • Do we have to attend the open house to sign up for UVCC?
    • No. Students can apply online when the application opens to the public on Friday, December 6. However, program admission is on a first-come, first-serve basis and some programs do fill up during open house. It is recommended that if students have a strong desire for a specific program that they sign up during open house.
  • Do both students and parents/guardians need to be present at the open house?
    • No. We recognize that schedules can be difficult to coordinate. Students are able to come to the open house and sign themselves up, or parents/guardians may attend the open house to sign their child up.
  • What information do I need to fill out an application?
    •  Name, email address, phone number, and top two UVCC programs of choice.
