Thoughts from Mr. Frank Harris, Science Instructor:

“Scott Naill was a pioneer and innovator of the 21st Century career tech instructor.  Today, what we consider a high quality career tech lab was crafted by Scott 20 years ago. With his advisory group he pioneered new ways to recruit future HVAC students.

Scott worked with academic teachers to add depth to the HVAC program and led career tech in having students earn industry credentials. Scott’s example reverberated throughout UVCC and career tech education across the nation. Scott's impact will have a lasting effect on his students and faculty at Upper Valley Career Center.

On a personal note, Scott was my mentor. He was important to me professionally and as a friend. He helped mold me into the professional I am today… Scott would always give me the best advice. He would tell me when I was wrong, he would tell me when I needed to advocate for something. Everything was always based around what was best for the students and the HVAC program.”
